please help somebody who know where is coolant temperature sensor on bmw 320d

i decided to fix my car myself, and I bought new part but i cant find where is sensor placed….
it should be sonewhere maybe on radiator or on engine hed i really dont know…. so if anybody know where it can be to help….

Try looking up wiring diagrams on Google, you should be able to find everything on there

In most cases, the sensor is located on the joint where the water leaves the engine block. Try searching for engine specific instructions.

It should be screwed somewhere in the head between cyl.3 and 4 on the intake side.

i changed temp. sensor and problem is still there…. i have not fixed my car….

Whats it doing? Overheating i assume. How quick? My guesses would be thermostat or waterpump especially if plastic impeller on pump. Possibly head gasket but u can test for that with a block tester.

it works great temp goes to about 86-96°C but when i turn car of and try to turn on it again temp meter goes to red and car dont want to turn on again
after 2 hours i can turn on it and it work again
