Does a year 98 mb c180 have traction controll and if yes how would one turn it off, also did not find anything on google thats why im asking here. :)

The w202 has traction control and has a button to turn it off in the center console. But it reactivates under braking so it’s not 100% turned off

Ok thanks for answer, but i dont have such button in the console it only has warmer for rear galass and 2 air conditionig buttons?

They say if your car is from 98 you should have traction control, and you should have a button to turn it off,. If u don’t got a button to turn it off, your car has no traction control. At least that’s what they say :D

Ok i can finally tell u, since 1999 traction control comes as standard, 1997-1999 it was an optional feature so you probably don’t have it.

Oh… Well thats too bad, thats just means c180 does not have enough power to drift on snow :X atlest not on 2nd gear. But thanks for the help! :)

Sometimes they have an asr button, which turns traction control off

I think its only for newer mercedes but, i got my c180 to drift after the new wintertyres wore a bit
