Maxspeeding Coilovers vs HSD vs VMaxx
Looking to order coil overs and I keep going back and forth on which ones to get. (common theme with this project :P). Daily driver, spirited driving very occasional track use (possibly).
Looking to spend between £300-£600 so the three ive selected fit that range are detailed below. Does anyone have any of these three brands? Recommendations? Horror stories?
Maxspeeding - some good reviews on the site, dampening adjustment, good feedback from other car users (fair bit of use in the BMW scene). Cheep! But seem to be good manufacturing quality and 1 year warranty. - £400
Vmaxx - middle of the pack with both extremes (dampening adjustment) and classic. Mixed reviews, two year warranty but I think anything under a 35mm drop requires shorter drop links sound like a pain? £400-£520
HSD - reputable, good reviews, dampening, top end of my limit but quality and 1 year warranty with spare parts easily available. But worth the extra £200 from the Maxspeeding versions? - £600
Thoughts and opinions are appreciated!! 😁
Any other brands ive missed which are stand out?
Thanks

If you are looking at HSD budget, look at Meisters too. Great from all I’ve seen.
Cheers Bilbo - I had a look into them too look good. I’ve ended up settling on HSD DualTechs - don’t want to skimp too much on wheels/suspension so forked out that extra bit. Hopefully it pays off!
Vmaxx Classic is probably the best cheap suspension set up, from what I’ve seen here in the US at least
