Driver assists on racing games
This isn’t a post on how each game employs driving assists differently, but rather how each of us use driver assists and don’t use assists.
I play consoles, PS3 and Xbox 360, and for Gran Turismo and Forza I use ABS but no other driving assists. In the F1 series I use no driving assists at all. I noticed that using driving assists help reduce tire wear in F1, but I prefer the added challenge of preserving tires. I generally use cockpit cam on all games, and from car to car it can vary a lot. In F1 series, the cockpit cam took some practice to get used to, but now I can drive pretty well with it. I don’t use OSD in F1, but in Forza and GT I use the on screen displays.
What driving assists, point of views and on screen displays do you guys use in racing games?

For Forza 6 I use cockpit cam and I use no assist but for Project cars I use all of the assist. A very huge difference in physics
As I play with a controller, I use ABS only in Forza 6 and FH3 (with normal steering though) and for Dirt Rally I still have to figure out what works best.
I’m on PS4 so I only play Asseto corsa which is a sim game, I run a wheel in cockpit view. I only use abs and I don’t have the accelerate and brake line on
I play assetto corsa with abs and tcs set to factory. I also use a wheel. I use no assists on forza.
I play GTA so no driving assists at all 😅😅
Assists would help a lot with the stupid cops
Play fh3 with all assists turned off, can be difficult for racing but works best for drifting personally.
I play forza 6 and fh3 with everything off except the rewind feature.
