When i’m shifting my gearbox makes a squeaky sound. Can i solve this with some wd40 ? Or is it something worse ?

From the inside the shifter, when changing gears it squeaks
Wd40 is only a temporary lubricant. Try a little bit of engine oil on the linkages and see if that solves the problem. I doubt it would be anything serious.

I was thinking the same, god damn insects.
Even i think that it is because of low transmission fluid.. and the noise is because of the friction which is being generated because of the gear shift

Maybe i can tell you better if you tell me which car is it ..
It is most probably your transmission oil .. and if not then check it carefully that does it really make noise when you change the gear or is the noise being produced from your clutch pedal.. cus clutch cable can also be the reason for the noise ..
That i have checked out already. It only squeaks when i change gears whilst operating the stick.
Dont get confused ..Check Transmission oil :D
One last thing brother .. also check the gear lever
