MK1 vs MK2

Everything is different, despite looking vaguely similar. It depends which models you are referring to as early mk1’s are different to later mk1’s and the same for mk2’s. The only similarities are that the wheel pcd is 4x100, some of the engines remained the same but with different fueling and the mk2 front seats can be retrofitted into the mk1. Other than that, the running gear is all different, body panels all different, different interior, its like comparing the mk5 to the mk6 Golf really.
