4 cylinder vs 6 cylinder
Just a question of economic purposes, is it worth buying a 318I or going for the 6 cylinder options because 6cylinders cost more to run its also a whether to get a coupe or sedan. In my home country the 318ci wasn’t available.
Cheers for th help (if I get any):-)

Ask your self what will you use the car for are you going to be ferrying many people about ? The six cylinder is a smoother ride and it’s not that bad to run but out of the 6 cylinder engines I would go for the 3.0 rather than the others as there is only 1mpg different plus the tax is the same for the lowest 6 cylinder (2.2 which I have) and the 3.0 so ask your self what you need the car for
6 cyl is smoother and sounds better, it also may be slightly more reliable then the 4cyl.
I actually have the 318ci with the later N46 (150hp) engine and whilst it isnt a 6cyl it is the smoothest 4cyl i have ever driven and the character of the engine is great, it just loves to rev in any gear effortlessly. It is very good on fuel in my opinion, it only drinks £5 more a week then my old car which was a 1.6 honda civic
I have an E46 318i with N42 engine (2.0l I4) and I have no complains about the power. :D
Yes it is the 6cyls are very thirsty.
Must be an EDM thing. My USDM 323i has averaged 30mpg doing 80mph
