A Ford Dealer Will Sell You An 800bhp 2018 Mustang For $52k

Lebanon Ford in Ohio is back with another monstrously powerful yet amazingly affordable Mustang

Mid-Ohio-based Lebanon Ford has made something of a name for itself when it comes to selling very powerful Mustangs for not much money. Most recently we saw the dealership reveal a 542bhp Ecoboost pony car that was somehow just $32,995, and now Lebanon has revealed exactly what it’ll be doing with the facelifted 2018 Mustang: it’ll be, err, making it very powerful for not much money.

The firm has announced that it’ll be selling an 800bhp Mustang for $51,995. Yes, $51,995 for all the bits, the labour and indeed the car itself. The caveat is you’ll need to be happy waving goodbye to your brand new car’s warranty before you’ve even taken the keys.

The conversion includes a Hellion turbo conversion with a pair of 62mm turbochargers, an X-pipe, 1000cc fuel injectors, 800bhp halfshafts (you’ll definitely be wanting those), an N-Gauge Tuning Device which lets you choose between different calibrations, and upgraded TSS oil pump gears.

If a power output exceeding that of the incoming GT500 still doesn’t satisfy you, it needn’t end there. With supporting mods and the boost pressure upped considerably (you can go anywhere from seven to 30psi, Lebanon says), up to 1200bhp is apparently possible…

Crank the boost up to 30psi and make 1200hp with no warranty? That sounds like a good way to spend a lot of money for a mustang with a blown up engine

Yeah, but the Hellcat is factory-built and could probably support more than a mere 100 hp

I hear ecosports are so cheap in the Middle East, a base model will set you back £8k.
