Steering wheel problem
I have a problem with my “Speed link Drift O.Z”(the steering wheel in the picture, picture not mine) for PS3 (on the steering wheel it is written that the steering wheel is only for PS3) and for some reason i can’t make it work with my PS3 games as i want to (the game i am mostly playing is F1 championship edition). If i want to set the Shifter’s behind the wheel as gear changes or the pedals to accelerate and brake it doesn’t do that and i need to understand it’s “brain” to know how to use to drive normally. Can you help me please if you have that steering wheel (or even if you don’t) understand what is wrong with it or what am i doing wrong? (the steering wheel is in perfect condition)

Have you checked if the wheel is supported on ps3… and supported on the chosen games you tried to play?
No. Are there games that don’t support some steering wheels?
Is there a steering wheel that supports all PS3 games?
Research Logitech Driving Force GT
A cheap one

My friend also has the same steering wheel and has the exact same problems. Seems like that steering wheel is a bad choice to buy
Kay, time to go all technical on the PS3 software/hardware:
The Dualshock 3 and supported controllers/wheels have pressure sensitivity (i.e it calculates how hard you’re pressing the triggers). This is a relatively expensive process to do, and often requires licences so some unlicenced manufacturers choose not to include the system. This is why cheap PS2-to-USB adaptors and PS4 controllers don’t work well with most PS3 games.
For your wheel, it seems like a simillar issue. You might not have any issues with older titles (ProStreet and other games that came out around that time) but newer games don’t function properly (GT5/6, Burnout Paradise, and most post 2010 racing games)
