8 Brilliant Vehicles Uploaded To The CT Garage Last Week

From the spectacularly awesome to the downright weird, here are some of last week's best CT Garage uploads!

You might have noticed this week’s round up is devoted to ‘vehicles’ rather than cars, and this awesome little thing is part of the reason. Measuring 1.5 metres tall and just under a metre wide, uploader The Volvo Guy assures us that he can indeed fit in it. And apparently, on a looser surface, it’ll drift….

It’s powered by a 6.5bhp engine, and might just be the most weirdly awesome thing we’ve yet seen in the CT Garage.

There’s just something indescribably cool about ex-law enforcement cars, isn’t there? This particular one - a 2010 Crown Vic - used to belong to Ontario Provincial Police, and is fitted with a 4.6-litre V8.

Last week’s instalment featured the cars of Shmee150 and Vehicle Virgins, and this week, we have another upload from one of those YouTube vlogger types. This time around, it’s the Jaguar F-Type R bought by Sam - aka Seen Through Glass - to replace his Alfa Romeo 4C. Sounds like a decent upgrade to us…

We’re lucky enough to have some amazing old Datsun Z cars in the CT Garage, and this one belonging to Taryn Kelly - Speedhunters’ Community Manager and the person behind I Heart Stance - is one of the very best. It’s rocking a G nose conversion and is finished with a set of Work Meister CR01 rims, but what you really want to be looking at is the Mikuni Solex carbs under the bonnet.

We’re used to seeing a hell of a lot of S14s and S15s on our travels, but the older S13? Not so much. That’s why this beautiful 1990 example caught our eye, particularly because of the livery, and the power output: its CA18DET is good for 300bhp.

Head over to the garage post for more images.

Here’s reason number two for dedicating this week’s list to vehicles rather than cars: a ruddy plane. Why? Because we couldn’t let the first plane upload to CT Garage (at least, we’re pretty sure it’s the first) go unnoticed. The garage post itself is chock full of details (many of which mean little to me, since I know nothing about planes) for what Tristan describes as a "long distance family hauler."

If we hadn’t already featured a fully functioning mini Volvo truck and a plane, this is the point at which I’d say something like ‘and now for something completely different.’ But regardless, this Model T still isn’t the sort of thing we’re used to seeing in the CT Garage very often.

This particular example was bought by uploader Blood Eagle’s grandfather back in the late 1950s as just a frame and a set of headlights. It was restored in the following two decades by him and the user’s father, before being partially destroyed by a tornado in the year 2000.

With his grandfather passing away with the Model T’s second restoration almost finished, Blood Eagle has picked up the baton with his father to get the car finished. Just the sort of vehicular-based family story we love to hear.

What makes this ‘69 Camaro so great is that it’s a mongrel. And I don’t mean that in a bad way: it’s made up from a brilliantly eclectic selection of parts.

The engine is a 6.2-litre LS3 V8 taken from a C6 Corvette, the six-speed manual gearbox from a Viper (and the front seats, actually), the headlights are BMW units, and the whole lot is finished off with Peugeot paint and a set of massive Brabus Monoblock S rims. Like we said, eclectic…
