8 Brilliant Cars Uploaded To The CT Garage Last Week

We've had another week of amazing CT Garage uploads! Here are a few of our favourites

You might remember this user from a previous CT Garage roundup, which saw us gawping at his amazing VW Golf Country. That’s not the only quirky off-roader in his family stable, however: there’s also this hardy ex-military UAZ 469.

Not everyone’s a fan of the whole rat look thing, but surely we can all appreciate the hard work that’s gone into creating this one. Make sure you head over to the full post to see a comprehensive gallery of images.

We get all sorts of brilliant slices of ‘Murican muscle appearing in the CT garage, but this one does a good job of standing out thanks to its ‘Limelight’ green finish, and for being rather rare. Apparently, it’s one of only 140 Gran Coupe Convertibles ever built.

When the McLaren P1 was a mere twinkle in Ron’s eye, there was another, very different car that used the same model name: the Subaru Impreza P1. Being a UK-only model it’s not the best-known special edition Scooby, but it’s one of our favourites. Just 1000 were made, with Prodrive - at the time running Subaru’s WRC effort - responsible for the creation of the 276bhp beast.

FelixDaCat’s example is particularly noteworthy, having been a Subaru UK press car once upon a time. Have a quick search on YouTube, and you’ll see a certain Vicky Butler Henderson thrashing it around on old-style Top Gear.

My criticism of the old Mk1 MX-5 has always been that it looks a bit too cute. This one, though, doesn’t have that issue. It has the bite to match its wide-arched bark too, courtesy of a turbocharged 1.6-litre engine kicking out 200bhp.

We love a good 135i coupe, and this one looks suitably mean thanks to a 1M-style bodykit from Prior Design. Head over to the link for a full spec list.

As far as first cars go, few are as cool as this old 1602. It’s been given a little more poke thanks to an E30 318-sourced M10 engine, which sounds like a good match to the car.

And finally, we have this Mustang GT. Sure, it’s not a rare car and isn’t festooned with bonkers mods, but it’s a clean example and Aus197 has uploaded some great photos of it which are well worth a look.

Want to show off your ride? Make sure you upload it to the CT Garage!

I didn’t know you could put “UAZ” and “Brilliant” in the same article.

Being a Peugeot, wouldn’t it rat rod itself if you just let it sit outside for a day or two?
