How to tell a Giulia and a Giulietta spider apart? The Giulia has a scoop on its bonnet, the Giulietta only has a chrome strip down the middle.

I'm not a big fan of the US style "bumpers", which they considered safety features... but besides that... the Drogo nose and the plexi-glass rear windshield... this car is actually more aerodynamic than a regular 250 LM.

Gotta love pics of when the car was brand new.

…”If I could find a way”

Right… anyway. I now have a new “ultimate” 5 car garage:

  • 1957 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce
  • 1961 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta SWB/C (s/n2735GT)
  • 1961 Ferrari 250 GT Sperimentale (2643GT)
  • 1962 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Speciale “Chiti” (3269GT)
  • 1963 Ferrari 250LM Belinetta Speciale

This would be my dream garage… not bad right? I must admit, there’s a few others I might add, which are the 330LMB and the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso Competizione (3051GT)

The 250 GTO's big bad brother, with a 3.3-litre V12 and 350bhp. Only 3 exsist, all 3 have been sold by Talacrest at least once... and they're absolutely gorgeous... especially in yellow. The car's like a mixed breed, the result of a 250GTO and a 250 GTB/L having a good time and getting a kid that turns out stronger and bigger than its parents.

Although not original, the spec of this particular Lusso (5031GT) is breathtaking. Powered by an FC-168*B*, the car has a 300bhp powerplant that was originally meant for the 250GTO and 250LM, next to that, it is painted in this beautiful Pino verde and has a beige leather upholstery with a black stainless steel roll bar. What a goregeous car.
