What could be powered by the batteries of the blisteringly quick electric P100D?
6 Things That Could Be Powered By A Tesla P100D

Tesla is set to release its most powerful Model S yet, the P100D. Featuring a 110kWh battery pack, the latest super saloon from the electrical pioneers can achieve 0-62mph in just 2.5 seconds, putting most supercars to shame. In terms of instantaneous power, the P100D produces around 568kW (762bhp), with the 110kWh figure only based around energy usage over time.

Electric power figures often don’t mean much to the lesser-spotted petrolhead, so to put the Tesla’s stats into perspective, here’s a run-down of equivalents that show the enormity of Elon Musk’s 110kWh achievement.

I worked it out that the P100D could power 71 electric angle grinders. Could a disklok stand up to that kind of punishment?
