6 Amazing Cars Uploaded To The CT Garage Last Week

After another week of incredible CT Garage posts, we've picked out a few of our favourites

We’ve already featured a few Datsun Z cars in these lists, but here’s another. And we’re not sorry about that, because this one’s another stunner.

It’s had a plethora of upgrades including Megan coilovers, an S13 Silvia front hub and spindle transplant and polyurethane bushings. The whole lot is finished off in a rather lovely shade of Mitsubishi Rally Red.

If you logged on to Car Throttle at all last week, you probably saw that CT Editor in Chief Alex Kersten has bought himself an E36 BMW M3 to live alongside Phil the Miata. And it’s called Colin, obviously.

It’s here because - well - if it wasn’t, my job would probably be at risk. And I rather like M3s.

For our next CT Garage car, we go from one BMW to another, albeit of a very different flavour. This is uploader YellowBird’s very first BMW; a damn good introduction to the Bavarian marque, we’d say.

When scouring the CT Garage, we love to look out for cars that are obscure, and cars that are ex-forces. This one combines both. When in service it was used as a radar vehicle, and after a hard life it was snapped up by the uploader. It now has an exciting future ahead of it, with many modifications planned.

My first thought when seeing this neat 1980s Audi was ‘what the hell is a 4000S?’ A quick Google reveals that it’s an American-market version of the humble Audi 80, however this one isn’t from the US: it was actually imported to Estonia a few years ago from Lebanon.

The uploader has owned it since he was 16, but it’s not in the best shape right now, thanks to some moron who crashed into it. Here’s hoping it’s back on the road soon. Amongst all the sought after 1980s cars people are talking about at the moment, these old Audis aren’t the most coveted, but they have a boxy, retro appeal. So it’d be a shame to see yet another go out of circulation.

This is one of those garage posts which is a little light on detail, but one we absolutely had to feature, because - well - look at it. So, if you’re reading this Maximilian, we want to know more!

This is just a small selection from the many incredible motors posted in the CT Garage last week. Make sure you head over to see more, and if you have a cool ride to show off, get it uploaded!

Alex Kersten’s E36 M3… If I buy some E36 M3 sidemirrors, will be my car in this list?
(I would never do that, my Swift doesn’t deserve to be ruined by those things.)
