Hyundai WRC driver Thierry Neuville jumped a staggering 44 metres at Rally Sweden’s Colin’s Crest, breaking a new record.

Two cars collided during the 73rd Goodwood Members’ Meeting earlier this year, with one jumping over the top of the other. Incredible.

MotoGP’s 2015 season kicked off with a bang in Qatar, with a truly stunning battle between Valentino Rossi and Andrea Dovizioso. The lead changed numerous times in the final two laps, but Rossi eventually won.

The British Touring Car Championship is known for its close racing. It couldn’t get much closer between Gordon Shedden and Andy Priaulx during race two at Brands Hatch. Shedden took the win. The gap? Just 0.040 seconds.

F1 second practice in China was livened up by a fan running across the track. Apparently, he wanted to “try a car.” Obviously the man was quickly caught by security before he could get anywhere near them and was arrested by police.

Ott Tänak’s Ford Fiesta RS plunged off road and into a lake during Rally Guanajuato Mexico after suspension damage. Yeah, not the greatest place to suffer a mechanical problem. Fortunately Tänak and co-driver Raigo Molder escaped unhurt. The onboard view is pretty damn scary!

Kim Jin-pyo - a rapper and the host of Top Gear Korea - was racing in a CJ Super Race Super 6000 touring car event at the Korea International Circuit when contact launched his car into the air, rolling three times and clearing the barrier. Fortunately he only suffered minor injuries.

The Blancpain Endurance Series’ trip to Monza included included this huge crash for the Hello Kitty-liveried McLaren of Ronnie Valori.

We always love a bit of last lap drama. It can’t get much more exciting than Marc Marquez crashing out on the final tour of the MotoGP race in Argentina, after contact while battling for the lead with Rossi.

A spark during a Nascar Xfinity Series caused this huge fire. Three pit crew members had to go to hospital but they were soon released.

Audi and Porsche were involved in a brilliant scrap for the lead during the FIA World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Silverstone. It was the Audi R18 that won the race, but the Porsche team had its revenge at Le Mans with a superb 1-2 finish.

A huge pile-up on lap one of the Formula E Monaco ePrix saw Bruno Senna’s car almost flip.

Romain Grosjean overshot his pit box during the Spanish Grand Prix, running right into the front jack man. Looks painful, no?

Indy 500 practice was dominated by scary crashes. Helio Castroneves’ flip was undoubtedly the most spectacular, while James Hinchcliffe’s hit caused shocking injuries. Get well soon, Hinch!

A small error during the Monaco Grand Prix led to a big crash for rookie Max Verstappen, after contact with Romain Grosjean on the run to Turn 1. Fortunately he was unharmed in the incident.

The FIA Formula 3 European Championship weekend at Monza was dominated by bad driving, which caused the third race to be red flagged. In the second event Lance Stroll emerged unscathed from this monumental shunt.

A jet-powered Mini was on track during a Time Attack event at Snetterton when it went off and smashed through a barrier.

The sight of your car rolling down a hill towards another vehicle is never a good one. That’s exactly what happened during an ADAM Formel 4 race in Austria.

Overtaking one car on a street track is tough enough, let alone three at once. Bravo, Sage Karam. Bravo.

As F1 driver Fernando Alonso once said, when battling for position, “you must always leave the space.” When you don’t, this happens. Both GT4 drivers were taken to hospital after this last-lap Red Bull Ring smash but were uninjured.

New trousers, please? This heavy hit into the concrete wall for the #96 Aston Martin of Roald Goethe took his car out of the Le Mans 24 Hours.
