Hybrid makes WEC better, but really has no place in Formula 1. And the racing is just simply better in WEC. Although there is hope for a Ferrari/Mercedes battle next season! The only thing I would wish for is better sound and more exciting engines from the LKMP1 cars. V4 engines or V6 diesel? Sorry, but that’s the only part that doesn’t excite me about WEC.

I’d have to agree. V4 and V6 do have a potential to sound good, but a nice V8 or a V10 diesel would sound amazing..

Although the engines dont make that nice of a sound, the Audi regen system (dont think its being used anymore for the 2016 season) but its whinning sound makes me happy, it sounds futuristic and suits their style, although i admit the onboard engine sound of the audi isnt the nicest, its just grunty

Yes Wec was so much better… oh c’mon, when you have 6 hours per race, a million cars per race, it’s only normal you have more action, but the fact that it is 6 hours just makes it a big turn off

6 hours of WEC is less boring then 2 hours of F1. Actually it’s 6 hours of exciting racing not just in the LMP2 and GTE classes but above all in the very fast P1 class ( they were as fast in qualy as pre 2014 F1 cars in the race at spa ).

This is so making me miss the WEC. Too many special moments, my only complain is that there’s just one 24hrs…
