This is what NASCAR should have been. Sadly, it was ruined by stupid regulations and those dreadful oval tracks. If NASCAR was like this I would watch every race.

You can´t compare oval racing and road racing… And NASCAR wasn´t ruined by oval tracks as it only ran ovals in the first place. But when they go to road courses twice a year the races are always f**king awesome.

You know that the origins of NASCAR were on oval dirt tracks, right? You can’t say that oval tracks ruined NASCAR, I’d say the year where the vehicles didn’t have to be based on road vehicles anymore is when NASCAR died.

This is us Australians saying “Bob Jane, you bringing oval racing from America to Australia is cool and all, but we’d prefer to race our cheap old sedans and make a better, more exciting, more fast paced, cooler and still simple race series instead. You know, with cars that actually handle corners when you weld the rear diff and say it wasn’t for sick drifts… lol

Yes, yes, yes. V8SC on the main page of CT.
I could list another 25 reasons as to why it is insanely good.
Mark Skaife would say “you’re operating at an extremely high level”.

Often regarded as the greatest lap of the Mount ever, the “Lap Of The Gods” by Greg Murphy in the Top 10 Shootout in 2003. Watch, listen and learn. Amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRzLBFQ5M2Y

There is a official (pay)-stream and Motors TV shows every race. Or you can just take a look at vimeo: www.vimeo.com/devilstorm/videos/ Season 2015 starts on page 4 in Adelaide

Still waiting on another series to pull a lap of the gods on Bathurst, doesn’t seem likely

If you watch the races now with all the other brands it will change your mind. I know this was an Australian race but the old Nissan GT-R raced here before it kicked out for being too good. All these cars are the same so it is even more competitive and comes down to driver skill majority of the time.

NASCAR is for the idiots who can’t follow a race when cars turn both directions
