I c**ked up and drove my Pug into a ditch off an icy loose 90 corner at 40 or so km/h 😢
I myself am physically ok, but scarred by my own incompetence.
The car? Well, bypassers said “nah you need a tractor to get it up from that” and offered help with a Subie, but the fighter pulled itself out on a bump up.
Damage? Bumper 1/5th demolished, washer can fell out and non-funtioning, wheel off alignment, wobbles very visibly when driving, steering wheel loose and likes to wonder on it’s own from side to side a good 1cm.
Thoughts on what would work for the wheel? Thinking tie rod end but can it be something more serious since the entire wheel moves side to side like it’s bent from what it’s connected to?
It passed the MOT without any problem points
Hello fellow 306 owners. At the moment I own a 306 cabriolet. It is a phase 2 car, from 96. It’s been previously used by my cousins who were beginners. I am amazed by the fuel economy in town, on open road it uses a bit more fun but nothing enormous. I was looking at a 306 hatchback with the 2.0 163 hp car. Is it worth buying as a fun car? How does it drive? Is this engine reliable? Would it be a good project for a rally car?
