GS430

Hi guys, I’m considering a GS430 for my next car, fuel economy isn’t a massive issue, as the figures don’t seem much worse than my current golf v5, and I was tempted by the idea (and performance) of the 450h, but don’t like the added complications of a hybrid powertrain.
So what do I need to be looking for?
Are there any major common faults? Or is the reputation of lexus reliability well founded?
I’ve been stung with fairly major problems with 2 Japanese cars so far, and I really couldn’t afford to find myself in that situation again.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated😁

Can't decide on an H pipe or an X pipe for the exhaust. Any major differences between the two?

What have you done to your Lexus recently?

So far I have only spent around 25$ on my car, and I’ve fixed the check engine light (p0171) with a cheap muffler weld, fixed my radio and all internal lights with a single fuse (DOME fuse, passenger footwell). Next up is to fix the small coolant leak at the front of the engine bay, and then it’s time for rust removal, then she’s good as new! Then the mods begin… it never really ends!
