2009 was a pretty good year to Jaguar, with the XK and XF selling well and the new flagship XJ introduced, set to go on sale this year. Forward momentum must be sustained though, so what is next? A sports car - the rumored Jaguar sportscar we have been hearing about for years. A sportscar for Jaguar has been rumored throughout the 2000s while the British brand was under Ford's ownership. Do It Jaguar: XJC Coming?!

Jaguar is mounting a comeback, there's no doubt about that. The Jaguar XJ sedan just had it's official release in London a few days ago. And what a release it was! Jaguar's latest products the XK and XF are all very impressive but the XJ is the best yet. I really think it will put Jaguar on the map again in the upper segments that it hasn't been competing in for so long (think X-Type). With such an excellent product, Jaguar should capitalize on it to the fullest extent. That should include more variants like..... ....a Coupe! Jaguar absolutely needs to do this. It totally works, a British luxury Grand Tourer at it's finest! I could see a potential XJC even put up against the Bentley Continental
