Live Photos of Lingenfelter 455 T/A Concept

The first images of the Lingenfelter 455 T/A Concept were released just a few days ago. Now, live pictures of the vehicle are coming out ahead of the car's official launch at SEMA. Lingenfelter is one of a few different companies like ASC that are working to provide aftermarket conversions of the Chevrolet Camaro to Firebird enthusiasts. The look translates over just as well in real life as it does in the renderings. The front looks like a slightly modified 1970s Trans Am. In the back, the rear has been extended by almost 4 inches and the taillights are custom made. The interior has seen a few tweaks as well, with blue woven vinyl seat inserts and metal accents on the instrument panel. Some of the official statistics

If you talk to a Detroit-muscle-loving gearhead, you'd think the small-block Chevy V8 is the be-all-end-all of American Performance. So here's a question: what is the fastest-accelerating stock F-body (Camaro/Firebird derivative) ever made?  If I told you that it had a 231ci V6 and a four-speed auto, would you call me a liar?
