Noble M600 Blasts To 225 MPH!

Everyone's favorite British shed-built supercar company, Noble, has been pretty quiet lately. Sometimes no news is good news, and sometimes (like in the case of TVR) it isn't.  I've been wondering what Lee Noble's automotive offspring has been up to lately, and apparently the answer is "a lot." Up until  now, Noble has been marketing a serious of raw, hardcore sports cars for people who don't care about badges.  The M12 (and the GTO, GTO-3R, etc) were plastic-bodied mid engine rocket ships, powered by a twin-turbocharged version of Ford's 3.0L Duratec 24v V6 (found in the old Mondeo ST220), making 400-450bhp.  Car & Driver said the M12 GTO offered Ferrari Enzo performance for Porsche 911 prices, which really sums it up - 0-60 in the

S80 R-Design Package Coming?

For this month at least Volvo is enjoying a year-over-year sales increase of 26%, bringing sales up to 6,441 from 5,124. Whether or not that continues in the coming months remain to be seen, but the brand definitely has a solid lineup of vehicles like the XC60 and S80 to chose from. The S80 might be getting even more attractive, if a new report out of Autocar is to be believed. Last month, Volvo released the R-Design package for the XC60 Crossover SUV. I liked the changes a lot, thinking they improved the look quite a bit. Volvo: The Game

Now here is something unique and innovative! Many car companies have done advertising in games like Need for Speed and Gran Turismo, and some also in emerging platforms like the iPhone. Particular VW group companies, with Audi producing 2 games, an A4 and 24 Hour Lemans game, VW releasing a driving game featuring the Polo and Seat one with the Cupra. Now Volvo wants to get into the action with a pretty cool looking PC game. It pretty full-featured with great graphics.
