New Plymouth Road Runner Rendered

Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger, Chevrolet Camaro; three muscle cars that have been most commonly lumped together as competitors over the years. The Camaro's next-generation in particular has been rendered for years by enthusiasts eager to see the car be reborn to do battle against the Camaro. But, we're forgetting another muscle car-type vehicle that was in the mix: the Plymouth Road Runner. Could it ever be reborn again? Good luck, the chances of the Plymouth brand being resurrected are absolutely nil. But, that doesn't make it any less cool imagining what one could be like, does it? A year ago, magazine Mopar Enthuiast featured the Plymouth Road Runner concept on it's front cover. The design and rendering work was done by Austrian designer Michael Leonhard. Leonhard envisions a

Ferrari Enzo II Rendering

With the Enzo's small run done and over with, it's absence leaves Ferarri without a range-topping supercar. Lamborghini just had one if it's own with the super-exclusive Reventon and it looks like a successor to the Enzo might be in the works. Leftlane News is offering up an idea of what that might look like. It's interesting though that Leftlane is refering to the vehicle as the Enzo II. I doubt Ferrari will choose to call it that, or even Enzo again. Ferrari doesn't really do successive model names. They change them with every generation. For instance 360 Modena, to F430 Scuderia. That's not how Ferrari thinks, and certainly not with vehicles like the original Enzo. They are short run vehicles, not a long-term product line that

Look at a Retro 6-Series: RZ-M6

I'm a big fan of Racer X Design's renderings. They've completed some designs that have actually been built, in addition to looks at potential future vehicles like the Bugatti Type 12 Streamliner I've used in previous articles as an example of a future Bugatti sedan. Apparently I missed their latest design that come out back in January, so thought it might be interesting to cover it. Now,  Racer X Designs have come out with their unique take on a new style of BMW 6-series that could be based on the existing model. While I highly doubt BMW would be inclined to take a road like this for production, it's style certainly is  something to think about in terms of a possible high-end model for the brand in the future.

Jaguar to Remake XJ220 Supercar?

Over at Auto Express , they've released some renderings and information on what they say is Jaguar's upcoming remake of the supercar XJ220, set to compete with the Audi R8. Jaguar is experiencing new customers with the XF, maybe a new sportscar could be just what they need to help take the brand further upmarket once again. The design is sporty, yet luxurious at the same time, offering a much more elegant interpretation of a mid-engined coupe then it's nearest competitor, the Audi R8. According to Auto Express, it will be utilizing aluminum extensively, based on engineers familiarity with it in developing the XJ and XK. It would be Jaguar's ultimate statement of design and set to be positioned as the marque's "halo" model. The original XJ220 is a fabulous vehicle that
