Aston Martin Rapide Caught Undisguised

After a long wait from concept to production, the introduction of Aston Martin's 4-door stunner the Rapide is drawing near. New photos of the vehicle caught undisguised have been captured testing in it's home market the United Kingdom. An online reader of CAR Magazine, Simon Gregg took the photos. The car is set to be introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September and it promises to be the best of all the 4-door super sedans that are being introduced. Pure automotive beauty! Aston Martin has produced a design stunner that is every bit an true exotic. The visual weight of the car is very low; it looks lithe and very clean. I am a big fan, needless to say. Aston Martins are already some of my favorite vehicles in the world, British grand

4-Door Ferrari Rendered

Good design is good design, whether it's the latest and newest or not. Seeing the Muska Supercar led me to check out some of Krasnov Igor's work further and I came across his amazing intrepretation of a 4-Door Ferrari. I remember seeing the design when in it came out in September 2008 (before CarThrottle even launched) but completely forgot about it until now. So I thought it would be fitting to show everyone who might have missed it. Even though Ferrari's competitors are introducing 4-Door Sedans, Ferrari's CEO Luca di Montezemolo has taken a stand against any sedan during his leadership of the company. They'll make a hybrid but not a sedan. Umm OK; anyways, moving on. If they ever were to break that rule though, it needs to look like

Spyker 4-Door Sedan?

Lots of news is rolling out from my favorite niche car manufacturer Spyker Cars.  Apparently the recent spate of announcements has a lot to do with an infusion of Russian funding into the company. The investor apparently liked the D8 Peking To Paris and that's why the production is moving forward with it. Now Spyker CEO is shedding some light on the D8 as well as a new Quattroporte-rivaling 4-door sedan. I think this is really neat to hear, and an important step in Spyker becoming a more established and a bit larger volume luxury brand like it aspires to be. Sales last year were up and they look to be up this year as well with the new C8 Aileron on the way as well as

Official Image of Aston Martin Rapide

The Aston Martin Rapide is inching closer and closer to production. Launch is still about a year away and Aston Martin has decided to give us a little more to look over until then. Official and beautiful! That's the image we have of the new Rapide, offering a further look on how the car has survived the translation from concept-speak to production. Check out the blacked-out mockup headlights, a la' One-77, as well as the silver color. Something special about those headlights, huh? Not really, often the pre-production models don't have the final units available. So don't expect the taillights to remain intact either. Now I'm a big Aston Martin fan so I'm not exactly impartial, but it's amazing. It truly is a 4-door sports car, an Aston

Aston Martin Rapide Spy Shots

Now that's a 4-door coupe!  More spyshots of Aston Martin's supersedan have come out , and over at Next Autos you can find more photos taken by their spy photographers. It looks to be staying extremely close to the original 2006 concept car, by all accounts a very good thing. Well, take your pick; is there any comparison? The design is amazing, exhibiting classic Aston Martin beauty on a 4-door body. I don't mean to rag on the Panamera, but I feel Porsche could have done a lot better in the styling department. Like Audi with it's Sportback, Aston Martin is going for clean, beautiful lines in it's Rapide. The picture displayed above is an actual rendering of the car released by Aston Martin last November. Rumor has it
