Porsche recently launched the "all-new" 2012 Porsche 911 and more recently the "all-new" 2012 Porsche Boxster. But it seems both of these cars look totally like the previous models they replaced, and I'm sure that if you told a 15-year-old nonchalent teen or a pretty 25-year-old girl from Essex that these are brand new models, they'd probably say you're telling porkies. The reason is that Porsche undeniably look similar to one another. You can clearly see the DNA of the first Porsche, the 356 in the current 911, Cayenne, Boxster, Cayman and the Panamera. Porsche Cuts Canadian Prices

Price cuts are always good for consumers. Lately, a lot of incentives have been thrown around in the marketplace in the form of low financing and rebates. Toyota in particular has been racheting them up, along with a big advertising campaign, in a bid to increase sales in the face of the unintended acceleration controversy. Price cuts are a different thing though, and they are coming to a brand that usually (make that never) sees them -Porsche. Let's just just call it a stimulus for the rich. The strength of the Canadian dollar has led Porsche to reduce prices on it's lineup in the country - by about two percent overall. Porsche Boxster Spyder Released Ahead of LA

The Los Angeles International Auto Show is just a month away, and Porsche is already getting around to releasing a new model. The Boxster has been a great seller for Porsche in the past, but sales of the mid-engined roadster have been particularly hard hit in the downturn. A new Boxster model, possibly powered by an Audi engine, might be in the works to try and increase sales.
