The first images of the Lingenfelter 455 T/A Concept were released just a few days ago. Now, live pictures of the vehicle are coming out ahead of the car's official launch at SEMA. Lingenfelter is one of a few different companies like ASC that are working to provide aftermarket conversions of the Chevrolet Camaro to Firebird enthusiasts. The look translates over just as well in real life as it does in the renderings. The front looks like a slightly modified 1970s Trans Am. In the back, the rear has been extended by almost 4 inches and the taillights are custom made. The interior has seen a few tweaks as well, with blue woven vinyl seat inserts and metal accents on the instrument panel. Some of the official statistics

When the Chevrolet Camaro debuted, fans of the Pontiac Firebird immediately started wondering about a Pontiac-badged model. That never came, and recently the Pontiac brand was closed, a victim of the economic crisis and GM's financial difficulties.

As can be expected, there are many very loyal devotees of the Firebird (and indeed the Pontiac brand) that still aren't satisfied. They want a new Firebird. Aftermarket to the rescue!

For those fans, various companies are working to fill that demand. Lingenfelter is one of the latest companies to do that, with it's new Camaro LTA set to debut at SEMA

All that is out now is this preview, with the look of the car sketched out similar to Firebird Trans Ams of the past. It seems to be pretty
