The car's future has been in doubt over the past year. Prior to bankruptcy, Chrysler deemed it as one of the assets it had worth selling. No buyers were found and the "brand", as Chrysler liked to call it, continued with the company throughout the bankruptcy process. Next Alfa Romeo 166 To Be Built in NA

For years, Fiat has had a plan to bring Alfa Romeo back to the United States market. It seems as if the time has finally come though, with the brand set to return for 2011 according to some sources. While originally it seemed as if Alfa Romeos would be imported for sale here in our market, the Chrysler tieup is upending all of those plans. Edmunds' Inside Line is reporting that the replacement for Alfa Romeo's 166 sedan will be built in North America. Alfa Romeo expects the majority of the car's sales to be in the United States, with the rest imported to the rest of the world. Chrysler Launches New Ad Campaign

With Chrysler LLC in bankruptcy proceedings as we speak and the future of the company hinging on a relationship with Fiat, the company has saw now as the time to launch a new international advertising campaign. Where they get the money for it? That's besides the point I guess. The new campaign aims to cast a better image of the company as it goes through this painful process and hopefully keep the floor from further dropping out under sales as well. Let's take a look!

CAW, UAW Deals Reached; Fiat Partnership Moving Forward

In a surprising turn of events, while things turn gloomy at General Motors, things are looking up at Chrysler. A string of positive news has made prospects for the company making a dramatic turnaround. Who would have thought? The Chrysler-Fiat partnership is moving forward as Fiat is seeing what it was looking for in terms of progress with bondholders and unions at Chrysler.  One of the biggest things Chrysler has been involved in is an new labor agreement with the Canadian Auto Workers Union (CAW).
