AC Schnitzer Tunes BMW 5-Series

AC Schnitzer founded in 1987, is one of the world's largest and most renowned BMW tuning companies. The brand primarily focuses on BMW vehicles, but also modifies BMW motorcycles, MINIs and Land Rovers. One of its interesting creations is the police package the company made for the 1-Series. It debuted at the Essen Motor Show in Germany as part of the “TUNE IT! SAFE!” initiative. The latest is its tuning package for the new 5-Series. The changes to the body are subtle - this is a tuning package for those who don't want to mess with the BMW formula too much. AC Schnitzer BMW 123d Police Package

There has been some interesting cars used for duty by police fleets the world over, like a Lexus IS-F in the United Kingdom and a special Gallardo donated to Italian police by Lamborghini. Here in the United States, the Crown Victoria is the most prevalent model, with a smattering of Dodge Chargers thrown in for good measure.
