Audi has been doing very well with it's model line lately, pushing forward as it works to expand it's reach here and abroad. I've been particularly impressed with the three models being discussed in the article, the A4, A5 and Q5. James just did a post covering the A5 Sportback. It's a shame it's not slated to arrive for the United States market! Why global markets would get it and not us - I have no idea. Audi has inched up pricing for the A4 and Q5. The 2010 Q5 now comes in at $37,350 (up $150) for the standard Premium model. Premium Plus and Prestige check in with rises to $41,400 and $48,850 for the Q5. Some option packages have been changed and added, as

At least, that's sorta how I see the conversation that lead to the creation of the A5 Sportback going.  What other explanation is there for such meaningless niche-stuffing drivel? While BMW overpopulates it's lineup with segment-melding, identity-confused vehicles like the X6, 5-Series GT and X1, Audi is taking a different tack in it's goal to hit 1.5 million sales by sometime around the middle of next decade. Audi is diving head first into the emerging "4-door coupe" with it's new segment line Sportback. I think the blending of sedans with a coupe-roofline is a good idea. If there's one thing you can say about VW's and Audi's, it's that they have an impressive aftermarket. It seems a new model from the brand can't be on the market more than a month without a tuning company having a go at improving it in their own special way.  Today we'll take a look at ABT's newest offering, the AS5, based on the gorgeous new A5 Cabriolet. Visually, the biggest change on the ABT car is the bespoke black front grille that minimizes the presence of the rather noticeable Audi "waterfall" grille as well as much more aggressive front fascia.  There are also aerodynamic side skirts, and an ABT rear bumper designed to integrate with quad-tip exhaust system.  Wheel options include 19 and 20" BR alloys
