What is a Performance Car? According to some it is a car that is fast and handles well. Some would expand this by saying that a performance car must look its part too, a swoopy body like what a Ferrari has or something with 'GTI' badging, large exhaust tips, big fat arches and tires to go with it. They could be right as even a hot hatch like a Volkswagen Golf GTI is considered a performance car with its turbocharged 2.0liter engine, large alloys, sports suspension and some semblance of a bodykit that differs it from the normal Golf. 308 RC-Z Teasers Released from Peugeot

James has covered spy pictures of the upcoming Peugeot 308 RC-Z recently, and now the company has released some official teasers shots to further whet the European market's appetite for the new vehicle. The 308 RC-Z is a sports model under development by Peugeot. It's styling offers a lot of drama - who wouldn't rather have this than your usual minicar? It's rumored the car will have attractive entry-level pricing. It seems as if Peugeot intends for the 308 RC-Z to go against the Audi TT, and I think the car will do well in that regard. Hopefully it won't cost as much as the TT though. The 308 RC-Z is based on the standard Peugeot 308, but the TT has been Golf-based so what's the difference? Spy Shots: Peugeot 308 RC Z Coupe

It's certainly a strange time to be launching a 2-door sports coupe, but Peugeot thinks it's a good idea. The French company is hard at work finishing up development and testing of the upcoming 308 RC Z coupe, which is the production version of the concept which debuted at the 2007  Frankfurt Auto Show.  Carscoop has some new spy photos and details on the upcoming Feline 2-door.
