It has been a little while since we've heard about the Bugatti 16C Galibier. The car was introduced at its own private event last year after Frankfurt, with Bugatti head Franz-Josef Paefgen stating the reason as him not liking to see cars at auto shows that weren't in the works to be built. We agree, especially when cars like the Bugatti 16C Galibier aren't built. The good news is that it seems as if the 16C Galibier will be produced. For one, we've heard rumors about a greenlight. Secondly, time is ticking on Bugatti's ability to keep extending the Veyron run with new special editions - a new model is clearly needed. Last we heard about the Bugatti 16C Galibier, rumor had it that it was given the greenlight for production. The car is currently being shown at private Bugatti events where former (and future) customers, dealers and "opinion makers" are shown the vehicle. The latest place it has turned up is at the Ace Gallery in Beverly Hills, California. As can be expected, Bugatti does things is much different than other automakers - when you're building limited run, $1,500,000 cars you better make sure there is a market for them.
