I’d like to introduce a new column here at Car Throttle which shall be named Supercar Sightings. In this editorial, I will be taking a look at various supercars I come across on my daily excursions around where I live in Surrey, UK.
In the past few days, I’ve come into contact with a number of high-powered and visually attractive motors. This is probably of no coincidence as I spent a big of time today at a local Ferrari Garage and yesterday was perusing through cars at a Mercedes-Benz dealership. With regards to the latter, it came as a bit of a fluke that one of the customers happened to be pimping a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder (2006 model).
This particular driver was smart enough to ditch the standard silver rims and opt for the amazing-looking black alloys. The 513 horsepower car really does look fantastic and with a fully retractable soft top not only would you feel the wind in your hair, but the at the speed you’d be going at, you would probably become bald within a few days of driving the beast.
Next stop Ferrari and Maserati Garage. Here I managed to get glimpses of an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster, Porsche GT2, Ferrari F430 Spider, Maserati Quattroporte and Maserati GranTurismo S. These cars were simply stunning and the only thing that ruined the moment was a crappy iPhone 2 megapixel camera. Maybe it’s time to make the upgrade to the 3GS eh?
I hope you enjoyed viewing pictures of these supercars as much as I enjoyed viewing them in the flesh. If you do stumble upon an automotive beauty whilst out and about, feel free to send me images via our Contact page and I’ll be more than happy to give them a bit of exposure. Till the next time.
