Novitec Rosso TuLesto

Ah, the many companies looking to get into the high-end supercar market. Add a new one to the list, Novitec Rosso, a Ferrari tuning company based in Stetten, Germany.

Novitec Rosso TuLesto Front Angle

Look a bit familiar? That’s because it is. As a Ferrari tuner, the TuLesto is based on the Ferrari F430. They didn’t say as much but you can tell. However, the TuLesto is unlike anything else Novitec has ever done; the styling and bodywork have been heavily modified. The car was designed in celebration of the tuner’s 20th anniversary.

The TuLesto will be one of the most exclusive of exclusive vehicles. Based off a Ferrari, for only 11 of Novitec’s customers. Germany meets Italy huh? Italian name and car with a German twist. Not bad!

Novitec Rosso TuLesto Rear

The rear has been been heavily redesigned as well and it’s looking good; definitely my favorite angle of the car. Each TuLesto will have 777 horsepower, propelling the car to 3.4 second 0-60 times and a 217 mph top speed. Transmission options are singular: a six-speed semi-automatic paddleshifter.

The business of improving on Ferraris must be a tricky thing, but Novitec has been doing it for 20 years so they must be doing something right. There hasn’t been any mention of the car’s asking price but I’m sure it will be enormous. After all, consider just the price of the basis car and that’s before the asking price of the conversions to to the body, interior and engine. Pretty crazy! Launch date hasn’t been announced yet but I’ll be sure to keep you updated on the latest.

I like the flared out rear fenders… not fond of the front styling, though. 777bhp should do the trick!

Don’t quote me on this, but I don’t actually think that it’s based off of an F430. I know it looks *very* similar in the front, but I believe it was designed and engineered separately. Something about the same designer working on both.

By the way, I really think this is how mods to exotics should be done. Enough with slapping a wing and embossed leather seats on a Lambo or Ferrari and calling it your own. Companies need to make drastic and wild changes to it including swapping body panels.

Really, not based off the F430? Wow, that would be crazy. They do look very similar but I could see where that could be a result of them working with Ferraris so much, and the constraints of a mid-engined design.

I agree though definitely about modding exotics. Don’t just rebadge, make it you own by doing something truly different and unique. That’s what I like to see!
