It wouldn’t feel like an auto show without the usual teaser images being released. Lexus is happy to oblige with a teaser (which unfortunately reveals very little) of its new small luxury hatchback for Europe.

The brand is hoping a product announcement will help to counteract all the negative news about the company as of late. Don’t count it!

Yeah, not very revealing – just a taillight. But, it does show the car’s new official name. One of the rumored names for the small Lexus before last year’s LF-CH Concept at the Frankfurt Auto Show was CT, and that is what they have gone with for the production car. Incidentally, that happens to be our initials – CarThrottle, CT. The h designation and Lexus’ press release indicate that the car is a standard hybrid.

Hopefully, the production car will look better than the odd styling of the concept – something we were never fans of. Lexus is hosting a press conference to introduce the car on March 2nd, but it is likely images of the car will come out before then. Stay tuned!
