New Bugatti 16C Galibier Images

Last we heard about the Bugatti 16C Galibier, rumor had it that it was given the greenlight for production. The car is currently being shown at private Bugatti events where former (and future) customers, dealers and “opinion makers” are shown the vehicle. The latest place it has turned up is at the Ace Gallery in Beverly Hills, California.

As can be expected, Bugatti does things is much different than other automakers – when you’re building limited run, $1,500,000 cars you better make sure there is a market for them.

Three Bugatti concepts are supposedly in the running for production. The 16C Galibier is the only one we’ve seen – the fact that they have released it to the public should be a strong sign of production intent.

Also, from a cost standpoint word is the 16C Galibier would share with the Bentley Mulsanne, which would help save development costs for the 16C as well as increasing economies of scale.

Also, with a top speed of around 220 mph, the 16C Galibier would be able to claim the title of the world’s fastest sedan – surely another welcome Bugatti entry into the record books. Until we know for sure though, Bugatti has released some different images of the 16C Galibier.
