Audi Announces Two New Packages for RS6

In terms of insane sports sedans, Audi’s RS6 sedan would have to rank around the top of the list. Unfortunately, those of us in the United States aren’t able to experience it.

Instead, we get the more sedate S6 model that packs 435 horsepower from its V-10 versus 580 (!) hp for the RS6. As if it weren’t exclusive enough, Audi has announced two new, limited-edition packages for the RS6.

The packages are dubbed Sport (now seriously Audi, a sport RS6?!) and Audi exclusive. They are restricted to just 500 examples of each.

The models have a top speed of 188 mph and feature a Carbon design package for the engine compartment, 20-inch wheels, and sports suspension plus (again, as if they weren’t already!)  Each will have numbered badge in the interior indicating the car’s place in the 500 unit run.

Furthermore, the Sport version adds an instrument-panel hood and center console covered in leather along with a RS 6 logo on the front floor mats.

Whoopie! Exclusive offers more customization options, enabling the customer to choose a custom exterior paint color as well as the color of the interior leather.

Choosing interior leather color is extensive and includes seat upholstery, controls, door trim inserts, front center armrest, and  armrests in the door trims

If you’re interested, the packages are available now in countries where the RS6 is sold. The Sport package costs 3,250 euros (about $4435 USD at current exchange rates) and the Audi exclusive package 8,310 euros (about $11,340).
