Because we’ve all been out playing in the sun and enjoying the bank holiday (UK), we thought it only fair to kick the working week off with a video of 50 supercars accelerating hard onto the M6 motorway.

The cars – on their way back from a supercar charity event – include a Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren MP4-12Cs, various Porsches, Astons and Ferraris, a Noble M12 and more Lotuses than you can shake a stick at. You’ll also spot a V10 BMW M5 in there too to mix things up.

You’ll notice that supercar owners don’t like to use their indicators – presumably because race car.

Flat-plane crank Ferraris > everything else there. That Challenge Stradale was spine-tingling.

really great video, but there’s absolutely no excuse for not using your indicators… if you’re going to go really fast the least you can do is be considerate to your fellow (slower) motorists :)

In the UK you’re not actually supposed to indicate as you merge – other drivers know you’re going to be joining the road because there’s nothing else you can do,, you don’t need to tell them.

Using your signal is supposed to indicate that you’re planning on moving out from the inside lane immediately. Of course, plenty of these guys move across lanes and therefore should be signalling, but it’s not required to signal just to join the road.

Source? Highway Code #133 says the opposite; If you need to change lane, first use your mirrors and if necessary take a quick sideways glance to make sure you will not force another road user to change course or speed. When it is safe to do so, *signal to indicate your intentions* to other road users and when clear, move over.

    Too freaking awesome!

That 2nd Porsche sounded so good.

Hard to get up them for not indicating when there appears to be no lane markings.

Spend all that money and no turn signals?

  • jim

    wow. a 959 at 1:06.

  • Andy

    No, that’s 43 supercars, 5 BMWs, and 2 Subarus.

  • Sam

4… that is the number of people who actually used their turn signals in this video

Aston’s sound the best :) Although TVR with their row rumble are ace too. And that 959 is a real gem.
