Car Throttle

When our resident author Tony suggested that it would be a good idea to try and incorporate some exclusive renderings specifically for CarThrottle, I started thinking about how else we could use an artist in sprucing up the site and making it give even more value to our readers. One thing that crossed my mind were wallpapers.

I go through a couple of desktop-background wallpapers every month. The main problem I have, is that I quite easily get bored of the same background and often, I can’t find the perfect background with which to leave on my screen. As a car junkie, I love to have some good-looking wheels in front of me when I’m on the laptop, but these images always tend to be the wrong resolution, too plain and boring, or shot in an uninteresting location.

I decided to create 5 high definition performance car wallpapers with the help of Photoshop-wonderboy George Loizou which would be truly stunning as a computer background. Please note that these wallpapers are exclusive to Car Throttle and as the images were not free to create, I thought it was only fair that I put a small website logo in the bottom right hand corner to recompensate myself. To be honest, I think it adds to each shot!

We’ve tried to make as many different resolutions for each wallpaper as possible to allow for different computers and operating systems but let me know if your resolution isn’t listed and I’ll see what we can do.
