One of the best styled cars of the last 10 years. This car's design is simple yet beautiful.

I saw one of these parked at the gas station on the corner of San Vicente and Bundy in Brentwood, and had never even heard of this car before. Holy schlamoly, this thing is stunning in real life - I stood there staring at it for 10 minutes before running off, late to my appointment. Was very bummed to see the $265k price - if it was half that, I would probably own one already.

This is one of my favorite cars in terms of design. It has a very nice shape where nice is a limited word. I like how you captured the interior details. And the photo with the car covered in water drops could make the cover of a magazine. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us.

Stop it! You're making me add this to the list of must-drive cars. Just as I was beginning to knock a few off the list ;) Btw, loved the "Megan Fox on wheels" comment, haha.

The Alfa 8c Competizione is indeed a bellisimo car, and it's fantastic that even a few of them are reaching the US. However, I hope that the almost as stunning Afla Romeo Brera and Brera Spider also make it to the US. Especially since the Brera costs* roughly one sixth what the 8c does.

I'm one of those die hard Aston Martin guys, but just seeing this car, even if only in pictures and on TV, makes me think I might end up with a new favorite if I were to ever see one of these in person. Living near Scottsdale, Arizona, I imagine one of these days I will...

Tim, excellent review of a classic and unique automobile, I would have loved the opportunity to just sit in a car of that category (if I even fit, pretty tall guy), but to start one up, then to actually operate one, wow how lucky can you get!!! The experience must be as unique and almost as exciting as piloting the SR-71; not many pilots have flown one, but those that have loved the experience.
